Lil Wayne Feels “Defeated” And “Defenseless”
In the wee hours of the morning, rap might’ve seen the end of era. Lil Wayne sent out some tweets this morning indicating the New Orleans rapper might have truly left the game, for good. While rumors of his retirement had lingered on and off for the past few years, it seems like the stress of his ongoing legal battle with Birdman might’ve been the final straw. After shouting out the Miami PD about 12 hours before, he let two more tweets off at 4am this morning.

“I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I’m dun,’ he said in the first tweet. “ain’t lookin for sympathy, just serenity.”
Naturally, for someone like Wayne whose musical career has touched so many different people, the news wasn’t taken lightly.
