Rihanna shocked the world when she went back to her roots in Barbados and partied on the street for the Annual Kadooment event.

Its #ThrowbackThursday again and today it’s all about global pop sensation, Rihanna and her beautiful carnival costumes for the Barbados Crop Over Festival.

The Barbados Crop Carnival is an annual summer-long celebration beginning in June that marks the end of the sugar-cane harvest and runs till the first Monday in August ending with the finale event, The Grand Kadooment.

Rihanna who hails from Barbados has regularly attended the festival since a child and in recent years has really gotten into the spirit riding on floats and wearing elaborate and revealing costumes.
