Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants a new contract

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be offered a contract extension by the Old Trafford club, The Mirror reports.
The 34-year-old signed for United as a free agent on a one-year deal in July, with the option of a 12-month extension after his contract expired at Ligue 1 champions PSG.
The striker has scored four goals in four EPL games for Mourinho’s side.
And The Mirror reports that not only are United ready to take up the option on his deal that will see him stay until the end of the 2017-18 season, they are set to offer him an additional year that will take him through until he is nearly 38.

According to the source Ibrahimovic’s fitness is said to have particularly impressed club bosses.
In his turn Ibrahimovic says fitness issues would determine if he would stay at the club for two more years.
He said: “Let’s see what happens. You never know. It could be more than two, it could be more than three. Let’s see how long I feel like I can perform”.
