6 breakfast meals that will INSTANTLY make you hunger(photos)

No matter what is on the menu, research shows that breakfast is still a very important meal. According to Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, researchers found that children who eat breakfast perform better academically and also behave better growth compared to those that take less or no breakfast.

Children who ate breakfast functioned intellectually at almost a grade level higher than those who did not, and were less likely to fall asleep at their desks or disrupt class lessons because of hunger. The same goes for adults. Eating breakfast improves the ability to concentrate, reduces the risk of heart disease, improves weight control, accelerate growth, increases strength and energy. Generally, health professionals recommend that we eat a healthy breakfast consisting of protein, whole grains, and fruits that totals about one-third of our daily caloric intake.

1. Toasted waffles and Coffee

2. Tea, bread and Egg

Many studies have linked eating breakfast to good health, including better memory and concentration, lower levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol, and lower chances of getting diabetes, heart disease, and being overweight.
Skipping the morning meal can throw off your body’s rhythm and balance of fasting and eating. When you wake up, the blood sugar  your body needs  to make your muscles and brain work their best is usually low. Breakfast helps replenish it.

6. Plantain, stew and chicken

If your body doesn’t get that fuel from food, you may feel drained of energy — and you’ll be more likely to over eat later in the day.
Breakfast also gives you a chance to get in some vitamins and nutrients from healthy foods like dairy, grains, and fruits. If you don’t eat it, you aren’t likely to get all of the nutrients your body needs.
Many people skip the a.m. meal because they’re rushing to get out the door. That’s a mistake. You need food in your system long before lunchtime. If you don’t eat first thing, you may get so hungry later on that you snack on high-fat, high sugar foods.
